Our community is built on the ethos of being friendly, open, honest and free-to-use forever. 

Whilst a number of sites are free, they often are populated by only a few people on a regular basis and often have users who are dubious and cannot be trusted (Scammers and Fake Photos).  We believe in being diligent and checking who we allow to be a member and we do not believe that such matters should be ignored.

BBW Admire: A British-based free-to-use website which limits users to five messages a day and does not remove obvious scammers and fake profiles.  Also, Forum and Chat footfall is extremely limited.

SexyAds: An Australian website which, whilst not BBW-specific, asks for you to pay to unlock all features and has a very small regular user uptake and chat footfall.  Also tends to be only full of rude and ageist people who do not welcome new people if they are younger (under 45).  We welcome all ages 18-100+ and do not allow any discrimination age-wise here.

LargerDate: An out-of-date website for dating which wants you to pay extra to message members.

CooMeet/We Are BBW/WooPlus: All websites which demand money and regular payment in order to fully access the websites.  We do not charge for using our website and are driven by people and their enjoyment rather than profit.

Chat City: A rip-off website where your interactions between people are limited and Scammers are unfortunately rife.

Various BBW Phone Sex/Credit Websites: A waste of time and money, when we offer good quality chat, fun, friendship and even frolics for free.

BBW Cupid: A website which asks for money before you are allowed to chat with people (unless you have a Gold or Platinum account).  Also, a site which has been slow to react to scammers and fake accounts in the past.

Curvalicious: A website which claims to be free but then demands you upgrade in order to use the site fully.  We will NEVER do that - when we say we are free-to-use forever we are just that.

LargePassions: A site which is practically unusable, where the latest posts are from years ago!

LargeFriends: A rip-off website which will deny you service even if you post your ID.  We do not demand you post your ID here and believe that most people are trustworthy.  Similarly, we will NEVER demand your financial details EVER!

BBW Chatroom/SSBBW Chatroom: An abhorrent, fake site which uses software and platforming similar to Chat City.  Users are deleted, even if they are paying members, and the admins refuse to help vulnerable and worried members.  All this site cares about is accessing your money, which goes against the ethos of chat and conversation.

Feabie & Free Chat Now: Toxic pro-bullying websites.  The very sort of website we abhor.  Here, bullying, threats and hatred are not tolerated and we welcome all people regardless of their size, beliefs, race, gender, sexuality, ability etc.

​

Plus Size Nation/Xtreme: Whilst free-to-use, it is not highly populated and a number of profiles are way out of date or are from one-time users.  We remove inactive users after 28 days and believe that whilst a good core chat-base is good we are always open to welcoming new people to it rather than (as Plus Size Nation and Xtreme do) discourage people from joining in.
